Battle Theatre Walkthrough

Battle Theatres are Loomian Legacy’s structured challenge gauntlets — themed arenas where fixed rules, typed trainers, and puzzle rooms gate medals and story progress across Roria. Each theatre has a leader NPC, a signature medal, and a type theme that punishes unprepared teams. This walkthrough covers all four major theatres — Silvent, Heiwa, Sepharite, and Atlanthian — with team-building notes tied to the Type Chart and links to deeper systems like Rally Ranch when you need stronger replacements.

Complete Getting Started and catch a diverse party using How to Catch Loomians before attempting theatres. Running in with a single over-leveled starter fails once super-effective coverage appears.

How Battle Theatres work

Theatres progress through stages: trainer battles, sometimes puzzle or environment rooms, and a leader fight at the end. Winning awards a medal tied to that city and unlocks shops, routes, or story beats. You can often rematch theatres for rewards after the initial clear — check current patch notes for daily or weekly bonuses.

Rules vary by theatre. Some stages restrict switching, others force double battles, and puzzle rooms in later theatres require interacting with objects in order. When pure battle power stalls, the block is usually a puzzle — see the embedded video mid-guide for visual solutions to common Battle Theatre 2 puzzle layouts.

Healing between stages is limited unless the theatre provides recovery NPCs. Enter at full HP with revives and status heals in your bag. Loomian Centers outside the theatre are your last safe save point — use them.

Silvent Battle Theatre — Naya and the Harmony Medal

Silvent City hosts the first major theatre many players encounter. Naya leads the gauntlet, awarding the Harmony Medal when defeated. The theme centers Light and Dark typings — bring counters to both or dual-type Loomians that resist their STAB moves.

Recommended prep: one Light-resistant wall, one Dark-resistant wall, and a fast finisher with neutral coverage. If wild gleamings distracted you on earlier routes, remember functional typings beat sparkle alone — consult Gleaming Hunting only after your Silvent team is stable.

Harmony Medal unlocks Silvent-side progression and vendor stock. If you stall on Naya, grind levels on nearby routes or rally improved UPs on Route 6 using Rally Ranch before retrying.

Heiwa Battle Theatre — Akio and the Wisdom Medal

Heiwa Village introduces the Wisdom Medal under Akio, with a heavy Fire theme. Water, Earth, and other Fire-resists from the type chart shine here. Avoid Grass-heavy teams unless they carry coverage for Fire STAB.

Akio’s stages sometimes mix trainer battles with environmental hazards — watch for burn status and equip heals. A single strong Water-type with balanced TP often carries early Heiwa, but doubles later in Roria mean you should cultivate two Fire answers before finishing the theatre chain.

Wisdom Medal progress gates Heiwa story content and pairs narratively with Sepharite’s tech themes later. Capture extra Fire types on routes leading to Heiwa so you know their move pools before medal attempts.

Sepharite Battle Theatre — Faust and Cyber/Metal

Sepharite City escalates difficulty with Faust overseeing Cyber and Metal battles. Traditional typings interact oddly here — moves and abilities unique to Cyber Loomians punish teams that only prepared for classic elements.

Build answers to Steel-like bulk and Cyber speed tiers. Earth and Fire types from earlier theatres may help, but Sepharite often demands species native to mid-game routes with type combinations you skipped. Backtrack to routes listed in How to Catch if your dex lacks Metal counters.

Puzzle rooms appear more frequently in Sepharite. If an room resets you, search for switch order or pathing clues rather than leveling — brute force five levels rarely fixes a logic gate. Community puzzle guides and the theatre video linked on this page demonstrate switch patterns that skip hours of trial and error.

Atlanthian Battle Theatre — Coraline, Lilian, and Doubles

Atlanthian City features Coraline and Lilian in a Tidal and Water themed theatre with double battles. You control two active Loomians per side, which changes targeting, spread moves, and switch timing entirely.

Prep six Loomians, not three. Pair a Water counter with a slow pivot that can soak hits while the partner sets up. Spread moves that hit both foes are premium. Singles strategies from Silvent fail if your second slot is dead weight — bench Loomians need usable typings, not just level.

Tidal typings add unique interactions; review Type Chart notes on Water and Tidal resistances before entering. Atlanthian is the capstone theatre for many story arcs — expect medal rewards that matter for endgame vendors and PvP item access.

General team-building tips

Across all theatres, follow these rules:

  1. Coverage over favorites — bring counters, not only starter partners.
  2. Status answers — burns, paralysis, and sleep end runs if unhealed.
  3. Level parity — keep six Loomians within ten levels for doubles readiness.
  4. Item stock — potions, revives, and status cures before entry.
  5. Personality awareness — brawny or clever rolls help; see PvP Team Building for stat modifier tables.

Rally improved UPs if you fail by narrow margins — sometimes five extra UP in Speed turns a two-turn loss into a win.

Puzzle troubleshooting

When a stage is not a trainer fight, read room dialogue for hints. Common puzzle types include ordered switches, tile paths, and escort NPCs. If stuck:

  • Save before interacting so you can reset attempts quickly.
  • Watch for color-coded objects matching switch colors.
  • Check whether the game expects a specific Loomian type in your party slot — some rooms gate on typings.

The Battle Theatre 2 video on this page walks through several notorious rooms; pause frame-by-frame if a switch order is unclear.

After clearing all medals

Medals unlock traversal, vendors, and rematch farming. Shift focus to PvP Team Building if competitive play interests you, or Gleaming Hunting if cosmetics motivate you. Battle Theatre teams often become the skeleton of ranked rosters once TPs and items are applied.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for trainers exploring Roria.

What are the four Battle Theatres in Loomian Legacy?

Silvent (Naya, Harmony Medal, Light/Dark), Heiwa (Akio, Wisdom Medal, Fire), Sepharite (Faust, Cyber/Metal), and Atlanthian (Coraline and Lilian, Tidal/Water doubles).

Why am I stuck on a Battle Theatre puzzle?

Many later stages are logic puzzles, not level checks. Look for switch order clues, save before trying, and watch puzzle solution videos if a room resets repeatedly.

What level should my team be for Battle Theatres?

Keep your active six within a similar level range and ensure type counters for each theatre theme. If you lose narrowly, rally better UPs at Rally Ranch instead of only grinding levels.

Do I need doubles teams for every theatre?

Atlanthian requires doubles tactics with two active Loomians. Earlier theatres are mostly singles, but building six usable Loomians early prepares you for Atlanthian later.
